compassion in motion
where care meets action
because no one is alone
Compassion in Motion, Inc. is a Houston-based nonprofit committed to strengthening community health through mobile sexual health services and support for cancer patients.
We exist for one simple reason: no one should face a health challenge alone.
Founded on May 1, 2025, Compassion in Motion was created to serve the Greater Houston community with dignity, education, access, and care. Through free mobile STI testing and counseling, and through comfort-centered cancer support initiatives, we are building a more informed, health-conscious Houston — one person, one family, one outreach at a time.
Our Mission
Our vision
Compassion in Motion, Inc. exists to uplift the health and wellbeing of our communities through two vital pathways of care.
We provide free, mobile STI testing, education, and counseling to increase awareness, promote prevention, and connect individuals to essential medical and mental health services.
At the same time, we support cancer patients on their treatment journey by offering comfort and care items designed to ease emotional and financial strain.
Through approachable, compassionate outreach, we strive to ensure no one faces their health challenges alone.
Compassion in Motion, Inc. will be recognized as a beacon of community-centered care — breaking barriers to sexual health services, restoring dignity through education and support, and bringing comfort to every cancer patient beginning their journey.
We envision a Houston where equitable access to health resources is strengthened, stigma is dismantled, and compassion is truly in motion for all who need it.

Sexual Health Access
According to AIDSVu data, nearly 28,890 people are living with HIV in Harris County, with thousands of new cases reported annually. Yet many individuals remain undiagnosed due to barriers such as stigma, transportation, cost, or lack of awareness.
When testing is inaccessible, prevention becomes impossible.
Compassion in Motion brings testing directly into communities — meeting people where they are.
In 2024 alone, an estimated 143,349 new cancer cases were expected to be diagnosed in Texas.
A cancer diagnosis affects more than the body — it impacts finances, emotional wellbeing, family stability, and daily life. Patients often begin treatment overwhelmed and under-supported.
Compassion in Motion provides care and comfort items on day one of treatment, reminding patients that their community stands beside them.
